Healthcare in your own language
Many international workers live and work in the Noord-Limburg region. That is why there is a GP practice specifically designed for international workers: Healthcare for Internationals (H4I) in Venlo.
At this practice, you can receive assistance in various languages, such as English, Polish and Romanian. This makes it easier to explain your symptoms and receive the right care.

Outside office hours:
Outside normal opening hours, only Dutch, English and German are spoken at the GP out-of-hours service. Do you not speak any of these languages? In that case, make sure you have someone with you who can translate.

- Save important phone numbers in your mobile
- Ask your employer for help if you don’t understand the care arrangements
- Do not go straight to hospital without a referral (unless it is an emergency)

Care and support

Are you having financial worries and can’t sort them out on your own? Hulp bij geldzorgen (help with financial problems) is there to help you. This is free for all residents of the municipality of Peel en Maas aged 18 and above. Together, we’ll look at your personal situation and see what solutions are possible.
